Nova Scotia Power Incorporated, the province’s privately owned electrical utility wanted to strengthen its links to the wider North American grid by constructing a 345 KV transmission line from Onslow, Nova Scotia to the New Brunswick border.  This entailed acquiring a 96 kilometre long land corridor to accommodate the new transmission line.  Turner Drake were retained to assess compensation for the 196 properties and negotiate their acquisition.  To learn more, click on the attachment and view this PDF document using an Acrobat Reader Plug-in (available as a free download from the Adobe Web Site, www.adobe.com).
