Our selection of Properties for Sale lists only those properties we have expressly contracted to sell under our Vendor Representation program and is only a very small sample of the commercial property pool available for purchase. Our primary trade area, a 100 kilometre radius of the Halifax Regional Municipality (which now incorporates the former municipalities of Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford and Halifax County), has the largest inventory of office, industrial, retail, hospitality (hotels/motels), investment, development land and special purpose property in Atlantic Canada, and the deepest and broadest pool of real estate buyers. The area is growing rapidly as rural population migrates to the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) creating buyer demand for apartment, office, warehouse and retail property for occupation or investment.
However even within this area of Nova Scotia, much, perhaps most, commercial property available for purchase is not actively listed for sale with any real estate broker. Property owners usually rely on an approach from an interested buyer or their commercial broker agent, before they decide to sell their real estate. If you wish to purchase a property which is not listed here, contact our Brokerage Team and ask them about our Purchaser Representation solution. Their review of potential properties will include those not actively available for purchase; properties listed with other commercial brokers (it is industry practice for commercial brokers to co-operate on the sale of properties they have “exclusively” listed for sale); and properties listed for sale with the residential broker members of the Nova Scotia Association of Realtors (we are a member of NSAR too).
